Interview and Media Preparation

Do you ever leave a meeting with your team or an external stakeholder and feel that it could have gone better?

During high-stress and crisis situations, it is critically important that, as a leader, you remain calm and collected, and the best way to do that is by practicing and rehearsing what you will say.

Tactics that will be utilized include:

• Outlining likely scenarios that you may face and developing scripts with possible answers.

• Setting up a room in a press conference style (simple lights and cameras will be used when applicable).

• Rehearsing questions and answers under format and script.

If you are the leader of an organization or would ever be representing the organization publically, you are strongly encouraged to participate in this service. The first time you experience the eyes of a camera should not be under a crisis incident.
